Kurita Water Industries Ltd. (Head Office: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President: Michiya Kadota; hereinafter "Kurita") is pleased to announces that, at the Board of Directors meeting today it was resolved to establish a new shared services company, "Kurita Corporate Service LLC," which will be entrusted with consolidating and implementing the finance, accounting, general affairs, human resources, labor, and other internal administrative activities of Kurita Water Industries and group companies in Japan. Below is a summary of the resolution.

• (1) Enhance internal administrative functions
  To consolidate the operations of the administrative divisions of the Kurita Group in Japan, to enhance the administrative structure, and to formulate business processes that will enable the internal control system to function even more effectively.
• (2) Enhance the system to facilitate business continuity and early recovery after an unexpected event
  To establish an administrative structure in the Kurita Group in Japan that will ensure business continuity and rapid recovery in the event of unforeseen events such as natural disasters.
• (3) Improve the efficiency of administrative work
  To promote the consolidation and digitalization of business processes in the Kurita Group's administrative activities in Japan, and to increase operational efficiency.
