Kurita Water Industries to Merge Domestic Water Treatment Chemicals Sales Subsidiaries

Kurita Water Industries today announced that it will carry out mergers of wholly owned subsidiaries that sell water treatment chemicals in the Kanto and Kansai regions. The mergers are part of initiatives aimed at enhancing the Kurita Group’s services by reinforcing and strengthening its water treatment chemicals sales network. An outline of the mergers follows.

1. Kanto region

Kurita Chemicals Kanagawa Co., Ltd. will merge into Kurita Chemicals Tokyo Co., Ltd. (both companies sell water treatment chemicals in the Kanto region), and Kurita Chemicals Tokyo Co., Ltd., will continue as the surviving entity (absorption merger). The post-merger company will be renamed Kurita Chemicals Kanto Ltd.
