As announced in the "Notice of Absorption-type Merger of Wholly Owned Subsidiary (Simplified Merger and Short-form Merger)" released on October 30, 2020, Kurita Water Industries Ltd. (Head office: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President: Michiya Kadota; hereinafter the "Company") announces that its Board of Directors has resolved at a meeting held today that the Company has executed a merger agreement with Kurita Engineering Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, with an effective date of April 1, 2021.
The purpose and summary of the merger remain unchanged from those announced on October 30, 2020.
