Apologies for Indictment against Kurita Water Industries and one of its employees
As of June 12, 2006, Kurita Water Industries and one of its employees were indicted on suspicion of a violation of the anti-monopoly law (improper restriction of trade) concerning the construction of human waste treatment facilities.
Kurita sincerely apologizes to our stockholders, customers, and all concerned for any trouble or inconvenience this may have caused.
Acknowledging this matter with utmost solemnity, Kurita will make every effort to prevent the recurrence of similar events. We sincerely apologize and aim to fully restore confidence in Kurita Water Industries as soon as possible.
