Notice Regarding Establishment of Behavioral Guidelines and Revision to the Code of Conduct of the Kurita Group

Kurita Water Industries Ltd. (hereafter, the "Company") announces that it established the Kurita Group Behavioral Guidelines (hereafter, the "Behavioral Guidelines") and revised the Kurita Group Code of Conduct (hereafter, the "Code of Conduct").

The Behavioral Guidelines show the direction that each employee should take in putting into specific behaviors the Values shared at the Kurita Group: "Deepen understanding of frontline sites (Gemba)," "Elevate and connect expertise," "Exceed expectations," and"Maintain unwavering integrity."
The Code of Conduct was established in 2016 as a guide on basic behaviors that all officers and employees of the Group should observe. It was revised by putting into more concrete form the Code of Ethics, which provides the foundation for judgments made by officers and employees, and by newly setting the Five Questions as a guide to be referred to when they are not sure about what judgment to make or what behavior to take on.

The Company will contribute to realizing a sustainable society by taking actions based on the Behavioral Guidelines and the Code of Conduct under its Corporate Philosophy: Study the properties of water, master them, and we will create an environment in which nature and humanity are in harmony.
