Kurita launches a campaign for water conservation in PCJ river basins "Impact together -PCJ River Basins Project-"

March 22, is World Water Day, first adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1992.
To mark World Water Day, the Kurita Group is pleased to announce the launch of its campaign "Impact Together: PCJ River Basins Project" in PCJ river basins^*1, Brazil, starting today.

This campaign supports one of the activities for the Water Resilience Coalition^*2 (WRC) in which Kurita Water Industries Ltd. has been a Leadership Committee member since July 2020. And this campaign is the 2nd activity of the water conservation campaign^*3 which was launched in September 2022 in the Colorado river basin, United States.

During the campaign, which aims to solve PCJ river basins' water challenges including water scarcity, Kurita do Brasil LTDA. which is a Kurita Group company contributes to the reduction of water usage at customers' operation sites located in this basin by supplying superior water savings solution. Additionally, Kurita Water Industries Ltd. will donate to a water conservation initiative^*4 based on the estimated water saved by the solution and support to the water conservation initiative in the whole basin.
