The Kurita Group would like to convey our deepest sympathies for all those affected by the recent severe rainstorm in western Japan in July 2018 and our gratitude to all responders.
The Kurita Group has extended assistance of 10 million yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society as a donation to rescue victims and to assist in the recovery of affected areas. The Group has also provided a total of 17,280 liters of drinking water of our products to local governments in the affected areas as disaster relief supplies as well as 4,572 liters to its customers and partner companies in the affected areas.
Our thoughts are with all of the victims and we hope that all affected areas will be restored to their former state as soon as possible. The Kurita Group will continue to provide assistance for rehabilitation and reconstruction.
