Based on the technologies that we have long accumulated in the water and environmental fields, we will pursue more possibilities for water use and pioneer new fields of business. At present, we are fostering hydrogen-energy-related business and other new business.

For fuel cells for household use, we have developed a maintenance-free water treatment system that can be operated at a high temperature. This system generates water with high purity and helps popularize fuel cells for household use.

Fuel cell vehicles are attracting increasing attention as a form of next-generation, low-emission clean transportation. Kurita became the world’s first company to install a hydrogen fuel station for fuel cell vehicles at an existing LPG station.
We are developing products and building business models to recover much of the valuable resources contained in wastewater to help achieve resource recycling.
We are developing water technologies to contribute to higher energy efficiency and the creation of next-generation energy. Also, we are conducting R&D for the future development of water that meets the requirements of the food industry in relation to energy.
