Kurita Global Technology Center is located in Nogi-machi, Tochigi Prefecture and serves as an R&D base for the Kurita Group.
This leading-edge R&D center for water and the environment conducts research into basic technologies, develops related products and commercializes those products in an integrated manner.
The Center is proactively saving energy by such measures as using solar power generation, adopting a natural lighting system through the use of heat insulation glass, and installing a thermal storage water tank.
Wastewater from the Center is treated by advanced systems at the Recycle Bldg. and 75% of the treated water is reused for various purposes, including as utility water, in testing and in the production of ultrapure water.
