Notice Regarding Completion of the Acquisition of U.S. Water Services, Inc. (to Make it a Subsidiary)
As announced in "Notice Regarding the Acquisition of U.S. Water Services, Inc. (to Make it a Subsidiary)" on February 8, 2019, Kurita Water Industries Ltd. ("Kurita") signed through its subsidiary Kurita America Holdings Inc. (Head Office: Delaware, U.S.; a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kurita) an agreement to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of Global Water Services Holding Company, Inc. (Head Office: Delaware, U.S.; "GWS") with ALLETE Enterprises, Inc. (Head Office: Minnesota, U.S.), the shareholder of GWS, on February 8, 2019. GWS is a holding company of U.S. Water Services, Inc. (Head Office: Minnesota, U.S.), which manufactures and sells water treatment chemicals and facilities in the U.S.
Kurita today announced that the procedure for the acquisition pursuant to said agreement was completed on March 26, 2019.
