Kurita will Exhibit, for the First Time, at the Water Expo During the Singapore International Water Week 2014
Promoting the Kuriverter Series of Unique Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane Water Treatment Chemicals
Kurita Water Industries Ltd. (Head Office: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshiyuki Nakai) will, for the first time, exhibit its products at the Water Expo of the Singapore International Water Week 2014, which will be held in Singapore from June 2 to June 4.
The Singapore International Water Week is an international exhibition for innovative water treatment solutions, in which many water-related companies, such as major membrane manufacturers, engineering companies, parts manufacturers, and chemical manufacturers, within and outside the country, will participate. Pavilions will be available for 17 countries at the Water Expo, and various exhibitions and presentations will take place.
Kurita will exhibit its Kuriverter Series, consisting of reverse osmosis (RO) membrane water treatment chemicals, at the Japan Pavilion. The product lineups in this series, which contribute to the stabilization of RO membrane treatments, the company’s unique water treatment technologies, and examples of applications for recovering and reclaiming wastewater overseas, such as in Singapore, will be extensively introduced through panel displays and demonstrations. Kurita also plans to make a presentation at the Water Convention, which will be held at the same time.

Products to be Exhibited by Kurita
The Kuriverter Series consists of water treatment chemicals that contribute to the stabilization of the RO membrane treatment process. In 2009, Kurita developed Kuriverter IK-110, a slime control agent that harnesses the ability to peel slime fouling off the RO membrane, and Kuriverter BP-201, pretreatment coagulants, expanding its product line-up. In 2011, Kurita obtained NSF certification for its major products in accordance with the international health and safety standards for drinking water; since then, it has been promoting sales more specifically to desalination plants supplying drinking water and facilities in various factories that recover and reclaim wastewater overseas. By doing this, Kurita aims to offer comprehensive solutions that can contribute to the stabilization of water quality systems, labor saving for operations management, and cost reduction of RO membrane systems.
